Tip of the Week

An expensive type of cell phone plan is the national calling plan. Although costly, it offers the greatest range of calls spanning the entire United States. The carrier will usually include unlimited long distance and roaming with this plan.

The user can travel or call anywhere in the country without thinking about whether or not their cell phone can be used or how much a call will cost them. This is the perfect plan for the frequent vacationer or businessman that travels frequently.

Some plans not only include the United States but Canada or Mexico as well (although an additional charge may or may not apply). With some plans cell phones can even be taken into a non-carrier area and still be able to roam on another carrier`s network free of charge.

There are many different national plans that offer a specific amount of minutes per month and some that offer unlimited minutes per month. Basically, the user needs to decide where and when their phone will be used and how many minutes they will need to cover their talk time. Remember, if this plan is not what you need or if you need more, most carriers will allow plan changes at any time over the phone or even online. This plan has it all!
