You Can Buy Unlocked Phones on eBay
The easiest place to buy any cell phone without a plan is eBay. As of this writing, there are more than 6,700 Nextel cell phones listed on eBay. But if you buy a cell phone from eBay, you need to be careful with a few things:
* Make sure the cell phone is compatible with your current service or is unlocked and can be used with any service.
* Make sure the cell phone hasn't been reported stolen. If it has, it will get shut down as soon as you activate it and you'll be out the cost of the cell phone.
